BAR-V-CLEAN — System Cleaner for MWF Systems

BAR-V-CLEAN is designed forMicrobiological efficacy: the product is intended to reduce bacterial and fungal contamination in MWF systems.

The basic biocidal component has confirmed efficacy against Gram-negative and Gram-positive bacteria, sulphate-reducing bacteria, yeasts and moulds.

Cleaning circulation systems of water-miscible metalworking fluids at machine-building and metalworking enterprises.


It is used during full or partial replacement of MWF and can also be applied to stabilize the working fluid during operation.

The product helps remove sludge, deposits and biofilms, reduces microbiological contamination, eliminates unpleasant odour and lowers the risk of repeated growth of bacteria, fungi and mould.

Suitable for machines with individual MWF supply systems as well as for centralized systems.

Recommended concentration:
2–3% — during MWF replacement;
1–2% — for MWF stabilization during operation.

Technological operations:
After adding BAR-V-CLEAN to the working solution of a water-miscible metalworking fluid at the concentration recommended by the manufacturer, technological operations are carried out according to the company’s existing technological process.

Processed materials:
Suitable for MWF systems used in the machining of ferrous metals, stainless steel and aluminium. The product is compatible with polypropylene and PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) as materials used in system components. For systems where non-ferrous metals or their alloys are machined, the composition of the working MWF and the presence of non-ferrous metal corrosion inhibitors must be taken into account.
